Lyon supporters may not exactly enjoying the experience but all the other Ligue 1 fans around the world certainly are when it comes to watching Lyon. 

The start of the new campaign for OL has been completely madcap with two defeats, one win and eight goals conceded along the way. Indeed, it’s the worst defensive start to the season for Lyon since 1966/67.

At least Lyon’s chances of scoring more goals than conceded has improved after the transfer deadline day arrival of Wilfred Zaha, on loan from Galatasaray. 

Lyon could well be in for another rough ride on Sunday’s weekend closer with a trip to take on the ever-tenacious Lens, a team with extra bite under new coach Will Still. 

The side laced with northern grid have made an unbeaten start to the season and will relish the chance to have a go at a Lyon defense, that is still finding its feet, to say the least.
