The Revealed Numbers of Vitor Roque's Contract
Barcelona is required to pay a certain amount of money to Athletico Paranaense every six months to gradually settle its debt for the Brazilian star signing, Vitor Roque.
Vitor Roque's signing with Barcelona has already yielded some results for Xavi Hernandez's team, as he scored two goals in his initial games, contributing to the Blaugrana's victories against Osasuna and Alavés.
According to information from Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club agreed to a transfer fee of 30 million fixed, plus another 31 in variables, and offered 20% to Paranaense in case Vitor Roque is sold in the future.
It's worth noting that Roque has not been a starter in any of the games he has played with the team, as he had only a short preseason to get in shape after being injured for almost two months and having had three weeks of vacation since his arrival.
Barcelona closed a signing in which they hope for future returns, as it is, in some way, a long-term investment, considering what they have paid and the conditions under which they finalized the signing of the player who will turn 19 on February 28.
On the other hand, with information from Mundo Deportivo, within the financial operations that Barcelona will have to carry out to settle the signing of the Brazilian, the following is included: they must pay five million every six months until completing the 30 (already paid the first installment). Regarding the other 31 million in variables, Barça must pay five million (up to 25) each season Vitor Roque plays more than 50% of the matches. Another five million will be paid if the Brazilian manages to be among the top three finalists for the FIFA "The Best" award. The remaining one million will be paid if the player manages to win the Ballon d'Or in any of the years he is with Barça or when his contract ends (2031).
