Here’s Barcelona’s New Second Jersey for 2024-2025 season
The Blaugrana club unveiled their second kit for the 2024-2025 season, featuring a return to black. Don't miss the new look of the crest.
Barcelona officially unveiled their second kit for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, featuring a striking black design, reminiscent of their kits from the 2011-12, 2013-14, and 2020-21 seasons.
This marks only the fourth time in the club's history that they will don black as the primary color. This time, however, the kit includes blue and red accents along the side stripes and around the edges of the crest, which is centered and blacked out, similar to the home kit, alongside the Nike logo.
The other sponsors appear in red, contrasting sharply with the dark theme of the jersey. The kit is crafted using Dri-FIT ADV technology, an innovative fabric designed to offer players enhanced mobility, breathability, and ventilation, ensuring peak performance on the field.
Barcelona plans to debut the new kit on September 15th against Girona, after being unable to use it during the first four LaLiga EA Sports matches, where they had to wear last season's kit against Valencia.

The Agreement with Nike
With the second kit now released, Barcelona and Nike continue to negotiate an extension of their partnership. This renewed deal is expected to help the club return to the 1:1 rule, allowing them greater flexibility in the transfer market.
In a public statement on Tuesday, Joan Laporta emphasized that while they could have already secured a deal, they chose to take their time to ensure they get the best possible agreement.
As Laporta put it, "It will be the best sports equipment contract in the world of football."
