In percentage terms, Rodri achieved 17.6% of the votes compared to 17% for Vinicius. The 2024 Balón d'Or was awarded at a ceremony held in Paris on October 28th.

Of the 99 jury members, fifteen did not place either Rodri or Vinicius at the top of their list, showing a distinct preference for other Real Madrid players.
