Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant celebrated the selection of LeBron James as the flag bearer for the U.S. delegation in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, in turn, praised the player who many consider the greatest in basketball history. They highlighted that, despite the passing years, James always finds a way to remain effective on the court, a characteristic that defines greatness, according to Curry. They also recognized his significant contribution to Team USA since 2004.

This is a great way to close out what will be LeBron James’s final Olympic Games. He will not only lead an Olympic delegation that consistently wins gold in various disciplines, but he will also join Dawn Staley (2004) and Sue Bird (2020), basketball athletes who have received this great honor.
