Sports Burst - Old Fossil v Young Boys
A morose Mourinho looks for Manchester United lift in Champions League clash
Manchester United has chance to advance in Old Trafford Young Boys encounter
Sports Burst knows just how Jose Mourinho feels. Probably for the first time in its short existence.
The sensation of being a stuffy, old fossil shuffling through life tutting at youngsters whose heads are slumped over phones, endlessly swiping away into the void to battle the crushing feeling of being all alone in the universe.
In recent mood swings, Mourinho has switched from combative and cocky to morose and miserable, as results for Manchester United have failed to improve and even supporters appear to have given up on the season, as much as the players.
The younger footballers in the United squad have come under attack for lacking character and the stomach for the fight. On Monday in a press conference ahead of today's Champions League clash in Old Trafford against Young Boys, Mourinho was back at it but throwing the whole squad under the bus for failing to deliver during games.
"You or the fans probably think Jose told (the players) to start slow and nice and easy, or wait to react. It's the exact opposite. It's frustrating."
Another chance for frustration awaits - to top off Saturday's goalless draw against Crystal Palace - with Young Boys in town. A win and a victory for Juventus against Valencia and United is through to the next round, anything less and it will be a morose Mourinho on the prowl.

Kovac fights for survival in giant Bayern battle
Bayern Munich has all but qualified out of Group E - just a point needed today - but that does not mean a poor result at home to Benfica in the Champions League could spell the end of poor Niko Kovac.
Throwing away a 3-1 lead in the Allianz Arena on Saturday to a relegation-battling Fortuna Dusseldorf - on top of an already poor Bundesliga campaign - caused the first crack in the previously watertight wall of support from Bayern's leadership to the Croatian coach.
"I'm a fighter," boomed Kovac at Monday's press conference. That may be true but his players currently aren't.
The same could be said for poor Santiago Solari at Real Madrid.
Lame-ness in its purest state against Eibar on Saturday and Madrid is up against a struggling Roma side in the Champions League on Tuesday. As with Bayern, qualification to the next round is fairly certain with two games to go...but that won't give Madrid fans any cheer going into the game.
"Every day is a big test (at Real Madrid)," noted the Argentinean who has wandered onto the Santiago Bernabeu bench basically through blind luck.
LA Galaxy show statement of intent with Zlatan
Zlatan news!
LA Galaxy has given a strong tug on the rope to keep King Zlatan in MLS in opposition to the advances of Milan. The club formally issued its intent to keep the Swede on its retained list for the squad for next season. No such luck for Ashley Cole though.
Neymar news!
Another Neymar-to-return-to-La-Liga story on Tuesday with Barcelona-based broadcaster, Beteve, reporting that PSG has agreed to let the footballer return to Spain next summer for a $225 million fee. Realistically, only Real Madrid will be able to afford that unless Barcelona are to have a summer yard sale to trim the biggest soccer salary cost in the world.

PSG coach, Thomas Tuchel should reveal whether Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are fit for Wednesday's crunch Champions League clash against Liverpool. Both are currently in training but fitness levels are still a question mark.
Barcelona will arrive in the Netherlands for Wednesday's Champions League clash against a very in-form PSV. Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic has travelled with the party although Rafinha, Arthur Melo, Sergi Roberto and Luis Suarez are all missing.
