Relief at Real Madrid as Brahim Díaz Incident Proves Minor
The tests conducted on the star of the white team after experiencing discomfort in the calf brought good news for Ancelotti.
The tests Brahim Díaz underwent this Thursday ruled out any injury to the calf and soleus area of his right leg, after he retired in the 84th minute of the game in the victory against Leipzig (0-1) last Tuesday.
An MRI confirmed the player's feelings, named the best player of the Champions League match after the game.
"I felt a knock and I don't know if it's the soleus acting up. They'll run tests, but it won't be anything," he said after scoring a great goal, dribbling past four opponents and scoring with a good long-range shot.
Brahim extinguishes the alarms and, barring any setbacks, will be available for Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti for Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano at Vallecas (2:00 PM CET, -1 GMT), where he is expected to replace the injured Jude Bellingham.
