Ancelotti and Camavinga are Backing up Bellingham
Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, and midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, have come out in defense of Jude Bellingham after his expulsion in Mestalla due to his heated protest after the match, which they described as "wrong" and "very strange".
"I haven't spoken with Jude, I don't need to discuss this matter," Ancelotti stated. "He's a player who gives his all on the field and is performing very well. The red card the other day I think was wrong because he was a bit frustrated, but he didn't utter any insults," he argued.
Frenchman Camavinga expressed a similar sentiment, not understanding what happened and hoping there won't be any punishment for Bellingham that would prevent him from playing in the upcoming LaLiga matches.
"I don't understand this sanction because he hasn't insulted anyone. We'll see what happens," admitted Camavinga, who was surprised by the final whistle blown by Gil Manzano in the middle of the field that ended up in a goal for Real Madrid but wasn't counted.
"You saw what happened, it's a very strange thing that I've never seen in football. It's very, very strange," he remarked.
