Kylian Mbappé Will not Play Against his Brother Ethan in Champions League
The much-anticipated showdown between brothers Kylian and Ethan Mbappé in the Champions League will not happen, as the Real Madrid forward will miss the match due to a muscle injury.
The game, set to take place between Real Madrid and Lille on October 2, was expected to be one of the tournament’s highlights, with Kylian seeking to establish himself at his new club and his younger brother Ethan emerging as a key player for Lille.
Kylian Mbappé suffered a left hamstring injury during the last LaLiga match against Alavés, sidelining him for at least three weeks. In addition to missing the clash with his brother, he will also sit out the derby against Atlético Madrid and another Champions League match.
Meanwhile, Ethan Mbappé continues to shine at Lille and will be on the field, while his older brother focuses on his recovery, aiming to return in time for the Spanish clásico against Barcelona.
