Martin Odegaard is Back with Arsenal After Long Injury Layoff
Martin Odegaard, Arsenal’s captain, returned to training this Tuesday after two months of absence due to an ankle injury.
The Norwegian got injured while with his national team and hasn’t been able to play for Arsenal since August 31. So far this season, he has only played three games for the Gunners, missing a total of twelve matches: three in the Champions League, two in the Carabao Cup, and seven in the Premier League.
Odegaard’s recovery, which saw him join training on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming game against Inter Milan, is great news to lift the spirits of this Arsenal team, who have lost two of their last three Premier League games and are now seven points behind the leader.
In the Champions League, however, things are going much better as they’ve earned seven out of a possible nine points.
