(PHOTOS) Vinícius Jr. Celebrates Like Cristiano Ronaldo in Real Madrid's Win Over Borussia Dortmund
Vinícius Jr. became the hero for Real Madrid, who found themselves trailing by two goals against Borussia Dortmund, with a celebration that echoed an iconic gesture of Cristiano Ronaldo during his time with the club.

The Brazilian pointed to his number "7" after scoring one of his three goals in the 5-2 victory orchestrated by Ancelotti's team.

Cristiano Ronaldo had celebrated similarly in the 2017 Spanish Super Cup first leg, where he was later sent off. This gesture was seen as "revenge" after Lionel Messi had celebrated with his jersey in front of the Santiago Bernabéu crowd.
What did Vinícius Jr. say after Real Madrid's victory?
“Believe in us. At home and with our fans, anything can happen. When we got to the locker room, we just listened to the coach and said one thing: if we score the first, we’ll come back again. We need to improve and play like this from the start, otherwise the coach won’t last,” he told Movistar+.
“It’s normal. We’re figuring out how we’re going to play, and the coach wants to make the games easier for us. In the second half, we changed the formation and the dynamic. It’s our competition, and we want to win it again,” he added.
Vinícius also expressed his love for Real Madrid, saying he has “four more years on his contract” but wants “to stay forever” at the club.
Moreover, he avoided talking about the Ballon d'Or, which could be awarded to him on Monday, October 28.
“I leave it to the people. They can say whatever they want, I’m happy when the fans sing my name,” he concluded.
