Rabiot Leaves Juventus
The Frenchman leaves Juve after five seasons with the Italian team.
Adrien Rabiot is no longer a Juventus player. The Frenchman decided not to renew his contract after turning down the new offer from the Italian team. The offer would have given him a salary of 7 million euros net per season (7.63 million dollars), but the midfielder opted to become a free agent and look for a new team for the next season.
Rabiot leaves the club after five seasons, 212 games, 22 goals, and three titles (one Scudetto, one Super Cup, and two Coppa Italia titles). Juventus sent a message through their website and social media.
“Adrien leaves after reaching and surpassing 200 appearances in our jersey, becoming the fifth Frenchman to do so. With his 200 games, he is the third most capped Frenchman of all time for us, alongside Zidane and only behind Trezeguet (320) and Platini (224). Thank you, Adrien, and good luck for your future,” the club wrote.
Currently without an official team, Rabiot is waiting for offers from various countries in Europe, with AC Milan reportedly interested in him. However, it's also possible that he might join an Arab club for a substantial amount of money.
