Klopp Leaves as Legend: All Titles Won with Liverpool
He will leave the Red club as the only coach of the institution to win all the major trophies. See here all the titles he conquered.
The day nobody wanted at Liverpool has arrived, the day Jürgen Klopp announced he is leaving the institution. The positive for Reds fans is that his departure won't happen until the end of the current season; the negative is that they will have to bid farewell to the coach who made the institution great again.
Indeed, the impact of the German coach on Liverpool has been tremendous. Since his arrival in October 2015, the Reds improved year after year until becoming the best team in the world.
They reached the pinnacle of Europe by winning the Champions League in 2019, a title that gave them access to play the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup the following season, both of which they also conquered. But one of the most special titles is undoubtedly the Premier League.
Special because Liverpool had been waiting for 30 years to bring it back to their trophy cabinet, and Jürgen Klopp made it possible in 2020 after a fantastic season. Additionally, they also won a Carabao Cup (League Cup), a Community Shield and an FA Cup.
A record that could grow if he ends up adding another title this season. Right now, Liverpool is leading the Premier League and is still alive in all competitions (UEFA Europa League, Carabao Cup, and FA Cup).
Klopp is the only Liverpool manager to have won all the major trophies with the club. Notably, he has the best win ratio of any manager in the club's history, with a 60.7% win rate in a total of 466 games played.
Moreover, since Klopp took charge in 2015, only the mighty Manchester City has accumulated more points than Liverpool in the Premier League. With all this, it's understandable that fans are saddened by his departure because at the end of the season, a true club legend will be leaving.
