Erling Haaland is Not Human: SEVEN GOALS in Three Premier League Matches
Erling Haaland is from another planet. There’s no doubt that the Norwegian is a goal-scoring machine, and his start in the Premier League says it all. In three matches, he has scored seven goals, four more than his closest competitor in this regard.
Since his debut with Manchester City, Haaland has scored 70 goals in 69 matches, including eight hat-tricks, the most recent one against West Ham United.
During this period, he set the record for the most goals in a single season in Premier League history, won two consecutive Golden Boots, and is now the first player to score seven goals in his first three matches of a season.
To put it in perspective, since his arrival in the Premier League, the Norwegian has scored up to 31 more goals than Mohamed Salah, who has netted 39 during this time.
In the current season (7), he has four more goals than Bryan Mbeumo (3) and Noni Madueke (3), his closest rivals in the race for the Golden Boot in England.
