PSG Seal the Deal for the Brazilian Declan Rice
The young Brazilian talent, Gabriel Moscardo, 18 years old, has signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028. However, he will play on loan for the rest of the season at his current club, Corinthians.
This signing puts an end to a soap opera that began earlier this year when Moscardo underwent a medical examination alongside his compatriot Lucas Beraldo. A problem was detected in his left foot, requiring surgery.
Following this, there were misunderstandings between Corinthians and PSG that almost derailed the deal. However, it was finally completed this Thursday.
Although the official figures haven't been disclosed, the press suggests a payment of 20 million euros, plus two in bonuses, for this player born in Taubate, Sao Paulo. He started at Corinthians at the age of twelve and joined the professional team last year.
With him on the roster, PSG will have a defensive midfielder next year who has scored a goal and provided an assist in 25 games for his current club.
