Metz secured three crucial points with a 3-1 home victory over Nantes in the 12th round of Ligue 1 at the Saint Symphorien stadium, as the visitors suffered their third consecutive defeat. 

Laszlo Boloni's team took the lead in the 3rd minute with a goal from Algerian Kevin Den den Kerkhov, but Nigerian Moses Simon equalized in the 12th minute. 

Simon Elisor once again put Metz ahead in the 28th minute, sealing their third win of the season with a goal from Swedish player Joel Asoro five minutes before the final whistle. 

With this result, the host team reaches 13 points and occupies the twelfth position. Meanwhile, the visiting team remains at 14 points, holding the eighth position in the league.
