Paris Saint-Germain will have to play without Marquinhos for the 25th matchday of Ligue 1 against Stade de Reims. The capital club unveiled its medical report on the eve of the encounter with Reims, revealing that the Brazilian is unavailable for this match. 

Marquinhos won't be able to play "due to persistent Achilles tendon pain." The Brazilian defender will be given rest for "the upcoming days" with an "appropriate treatment." Kylian Mbappé will once again wear the captain's armband against Will Still's team.

The rest of the medical update mentions Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, and Presnel Kimpembe: "Affected in the right hamstring during the match against Monaco, Marco Asensio continues his recovery work. Milan Skriniar has resumed individual on-field activities.

 Presnel Kimpembe continues his recovery exercises," reads the medical statement. As a commanding leader in the league, PSG aims to secure a victory tomorrow to move closer to the title. Meanwhile, the Parisians remain in contention in the Champions League and the French Cup.
