Real Madrid Will Debut their New Purple Jersey Against Athletic Bilbao
Real Madrid has officially announced that they will wear a new jersey against Athletic Club de Bilbao in the upcoming LaLiga match after the FIFA break. The new jersey will be purple in collaboration with Adidas and Y-3.
The Whites, now sporting purple, revealed this on Monday, March 25th, through their social media channels in partnership with the brand. The English star Jude Bellingham served as a model, alongside Zinedine Zidane, who also posed with the new jersey.
This collaboration comes from designer Yohji Yamamoto, who has had a partnership with Adidas for over fifteen years, aiming to create new and original products. They have previously created items for the Madrid team in past seasons, stating in their post, "Created and united to achieve glory."
The collaboration extends beyond jerseys, with everyday wear and training gear for sale starting March 27th on official websites and stores.
