Dani Alves' Last Team Before Prison?
Dani Alves’ life has taken a 360º turn after being arrested and spending a long time in prison. Although it has been a while since he played at the highest competitive level, he hopes that football will soon be his main source of income again.
At least, this is what reports from Spain indicate, stating that the Brazilian is hoping to first be acquitted of the sexual assault allegations against him before seeking another opportunity in football. The reality is that age is a factor working against him, as he is over 40 years old.
What was Dani Alves’ last team?
The Brazilian last played professionally for Pumas in the Mexican league. However, in January 2023, when he was arrested by Spanish authorities, the club decided to terminate his contract immediately.
The Brazilian footballer was sentenced to four years and six months in prison for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman in Barcelona. However, on Monday, March 25, Alves was granted provisional release after paying a bail of just over one million dollars, leaving Brians 2 prison after being there for a year and two months.
