Cristiano, Sergio Ramos, and More Real Madrid Legends Congratulate Club on Its 122 Years
The white club is celebrating its anniversary, and there were no few former players of the institution who remembered to congratulate it.
Players who have shaped the history of Real Madrid with great achievements, like Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Raúl González, Sergio Ramos, or Brazilian Marcelo, congratulated the white club on social media on the day it turns 122 years old.
"Congratulations on these 122 years of history, Madridista family. Hala Madrid!" wrote Cristiano alongside a photo with the Champions League trophy and the gesture of five with his left hand, referring to the ones he won between the first of his career with Manchester United and the glorious cycle of four with Real Madrid that made him an eternal legend for Madridismo.
"122 years of Real Madrid history. Hala Madrid y nada más!" posted Raúl on his official Instagram profile alongside a photo with the Champions League trophy dressed in white and with a Spanish flag, along with others where he lifts the 'big ears' with Fernando Hierro and images of several matches with celebrations.
Sergio Ramos replied to the club's message with an X and congratulated Real Madrid. "Congratulations Real Madrid. 122 years writing some of the most golden pages of football. An honor to have been part of it," wrote the current Sevilla player.
Brazilian Marcelo also had a gesture with Real Madrid, the club for which he remains, alongside Karim Benzema, the player who has won the most titles (25).
"Congratulations, my Madrid. 122 years of legend. An immense joy to be a Madridista," he wrote alongside a photo kissing the 'Champions' and another one standing on La Cibeles in celebration.
