Shakira will perform during the halftime of the Copa América 2024 Final, which will take place on Sunday, July 14, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, announced CONMEBOL.

This marks the first time there will be a musical performance during the halftime of a Copa América Final.

"She is a superstar who believed in greatness and represents and magnifies Latin American greatness in the world," said Alejandro Domínguez, President of CONMEBOL, in a message on social media platform X.

"Just like our football, that day of the final will be a day of celebration, and no one better than Shakira to be with us to enjoy this great final," he added.

Last May, Copa América announced that Shakira's song "Puntería" was chosen as the tournament's official song.
