Colo Colo secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores Round of 16 against Junior, with a goal from Vicente Pizarro.

The Chilean side, led by Vicente Pizarro's dominance in midfield, controlled 60% of the possession, taking five shots on target and stifling Junior, who managed only one shot on goal throughout the match.

Vicente Pizarro scored the only goal of the game, sending the Estadio Monumental David Arellano into a frenzy in the 76th minute. He found the back of the net with a well-placed shot after a through ball from Palacios.

With this result, Colo Colo will travel to Colombia with a narrow advantage in the aggregate score, while Junior will look to stage a comeback at home to advance to the next round of the Libertadores.
