Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will miss Bayer Leverkusen's first the start of the new Bundesliga season.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will miss Bayer Leverkusen's first the start of the new Bundesliga season and is a major doubt for Mexico's upcoming World Cup qualifiers after fracturing his hand.
He has now sustained an injury to his hand however, following a fall on the stairs of his home.

The 28-year-old was set to start at Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, but is instead now looking at up to two weeks on the sidelines.
"Hernandez sustained a fracture of his right middle hand when he fell down the stairs of his home last night," said Leverkusen in a statement on their official website. They also went on to add that the striker underwent successful surgery on Tuesday morning.
The striker is now also likely to to miss Mexico's CONCACAF qualifiying matches in El Salvador on September 3rd and at home to Honduras four days later.
