VIDEO | The Goals By Messi and Suárez That Secured The Draw For Inter Miami
Lionel Messi came through when needed most, scoring his debut goal in the CONCACAF Champions Cup as Inter Miami found themselves trailing 2-0 against Nashville SC.
The goal occurred in the 52nd minute when, following an assist from his friend Luis Suárez, Leo unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box that the goalkeeper couldn't stop.
This marked the first goal for the "10" in this competition, which Inter is contesting after winning the Leagues Cup last year, where they defeated Nashville in the final.
Finally, Luis Suárez emerged and equalized the game in the dying moments, courtesy of an assist from Sergio Busquets, which the "Pistolero" capitalized on to level the score at 2-2.
Everything will be decided on March 13 in the return leg at the Chase Stadium.
