Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid is expected to be sidelined for about a month after sustaining an injury during Thursday's training session at Valdebebas. Medical tests have confirmed that he has suffered a "muscle injury in the plantar muscle of his right leg."

"Following tests conducted today on our player Jude Bellingham by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a lesion in the plantar muscle of his right leg. His recovery will depend on his progress," read the statement released by Real Madrid.

Bellingham sustained the injury during a ball exercise session on Friday and had to leave the training early due to pain, prompting immediate medical attention.

"He took a hit, and they are evaluating it," acknowledged coach Carlo Ancelotti during a press conference, which was delayed due to the incident.

The impact Bellingham received on his right foot is expected to sideline him for about a month. This means he will miss England's UEFA Nations League matches in September and Real Madrid's La Liga fixtures against Real Valladolid, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, and Espanyol.
