Juventus Stadium to Host the First Kings World Cup Nations Final
The Juventus Stadium in Turin (northern Italy) will be the venue for the first Kings World Cup Nations, a global competition created by Gerard Piqué that combines 7-a-side football with elements of video games and social media.
The tournament, featuring 16 countries, will kick off on January 1, 2025, at the Allianz Stadium, home of Juventus, as revealed during last night’s event announcing the arrival of the Kings League in Italy.
The draw to determine the opening matchups will take place on December 5, and the final will be held on January 12. Legendary Italian footballers like Francesco Totti, Andrea Pirlo, and Gianluigi Buffon, along with notable Italian figures from social media and football legends, attended the presentation event.
Among the presidents of the twelve new teams in the Italian edition is rapper Fedez, one of Italy’s most recognized personalities. Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and former player Claudio Marchisio will serve as President and Head of Competition, respectively, for the new league starting in January.
While the start date for Kings League Italy has not been set yet, the league will maintain its essence by being broadcast live across social media platforms. Fans can watch it on Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
The Italian league will be the third to be played, following those already established in Spain and Mexico, the latter being known as Kings League Americas due to the participation of several Latin American streamers.
