Dani Olmo’s First Training Session with Barcelona
Dani Olmo participated in his first training session under the orders of Hansi Flick this Saturday, alongside Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, while Vitor Roque was absent due to “discomfort and fever.”
Olmo, after signing with the Blaugrana on Friday, already took part in the session, on a day when the Catalan team returned to work after two days off following their U.S. tour.
Pedri González, still recovering from an injury sustained in the Euro, and Frenkie de Jong continued with their physical recovery. Additionally, Ronald Araujo remains a long-term absentee after undergoing surgery at the end of July for a hamstring tendon injury.
The Blaugrana squad is currently preparing for the Joan Gamper Trophy, which will be played this Monday against Monaco. On the same day, Dani Olmo is expected to be officially presented to the media as Flick’s second signing, following the arrival of the young Pau Víctor.
