Cristiano Ronaldo Loses Another Final with Al Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr suffered a defeat in the Saudi Arabian Cup final against Al Hilal, who triumphed through penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw, despite playing the final minutes and extra time with nine players.
The clash between Saudi Arabia's top two teams, the champions and the runners-up, saw three red cards: Al Nassr's Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina early in the second half, and two Al Hilal players towards the end of the match.
Al Hilal, coached by Portuguese Jorge Jesus, completed their dominant season with the cup victory, even with their star player, Brazilian Neymar, sidelined for several months and watching from the bench at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored his penalty, ended the match frustrated and dejected by yet another setback that left his team without a trophy.
