Chucky Lozano Reportedly Banned from Mexican National Team
The Mexican National Team is about to embark on a "new era" led by Javier Aguirre and Rafa Márquez. However, it has recently come to light that one of the most important players may have been banned following an incident during a previous camp.
Fox Sports revealed that the player in question is Hirving Lozano. It was mentioned that during the last camp before the Copa América, both Santiago Giménez and Lozano traveled together. They missed their connection because one of their flights was delayed, and the Mexican Football Federation failed to secure two first-class tickets, so "Chucky" was sent to economy class.
In the end, the player reportedly voiced his displeasure openly about traveling in economy class, leading to the decision not to call him up again due to his complaints, according to reports.
When does the Mexican National Team play?
The Mexican National Team has two scheduled matches for September.
First, they will play against New Zealand at the Rose Bowl on September 7, and then they will face Canada at AT&T Stadium on Tuesday, September 10.
