A new MLS player is making the leap to European football: Caleb Wiley, a footballer from Atlanta United, is set to join Chelsea in the Premier League.

The left-back will sign a six-year contract with the London club, with an option for a seventh year. After twelve years with Atlanta United and making his professional debut in 2022, Wiley is one of Chelsea's key acquisitions for the upcoming season.

The 19-year-old is currently focused on competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics with the United States national team, hoping to secure a spot in the senior squad.
