Breaking: Javier Aguirre Hospitalized in Guadalajara Ahead of Mexico National Team Match
Javier Aguirre, coach of the Mexican national team, had to leave the team's camp to be admitted to a hospital, according to various media reports.
According to information from TUDN, it is unclear whether the coach will be able to lead the match against the United States to close out this October FIFA international break.
A group from the Mexican delegation accompanied "El Vasco" after he left the team hotel and headed to a hospital, where he was admitted through the emergency room.
The rumors were dispelled through the Mexican national team's channels.
"We inform you that our head coach, Javier Aguirre, visited the clinic of his friend, Dr. Rafael Ortega, this morning for a follow-up study after the back surgery he underwent last month.
Javier is doing well and will coach tonight's match against the United States," was the message.
