Argentina Remain at The Top of The FIFA Ranking for Another Month
The Argentina national team, the current world champion, remains at the top of the FIFA rankings, with no changes in the top positions despite the Africa and Asia Cup competitions.
The Argentine national team, still at the top with 1855.20 points, leads ahead of France (1,845.44) and England (1,800.05). Belgium (1,798.46), Brazil (1,784.09), the Netherlands (1,745.48), Portugal (1,745.06), Spain (1,732.64), Italy (1,718.82), and Croatia (1,717.57) complete the top 10.
Uruguay remains just outside the top 10 in the eleventh position with 1,665.99 points, Colombia is fourteenth with 1,655.29, and Mexico fifteenth with 1,652.7.
Qatar, the winner in Asia, gained the most points (92.04) and climbed 21 positions to 37th, their best ranking in the world, while Nigeria, the African runner-up, is twenty-eighth, and Ivory Coast, the AFCON winner, is twenty-ninth. Senegal, despite exiting in the round of 16, ranks seventeenth, the second highest in their confederation, overtaken by Morocco, twelfth, which climbed one position.
