Donald Trump, President-elect of the United States, couldn't miss the FIFA Club World Cup draw for anything in the world. He made an appearance through a video to send a welcome message to all the teams participating in this new format.

In what was a very special speech, the U.S. leader assured that the tournament will be an overwhelming success.

"I just want to wish everyone a good evening and a good time. You're led by a man called Gianni [Infantino, the FIFA president] and he's a winner. He is a good guy," the elected US president Donald Trump has said in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup promo.

"Football is doing very well, my son Baron loves soccer, he's a good player. It's taking over the United States. I wish you a good time. We'll be with you soon and of course the World Cup is coming and I was responsible along with Gianni in getting it," the 78-year-old added.

The first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup will be played from June 15 to July 13, 2025, with the participation of 32 teams from five continents. A total of 63 matches will be played across 12 different venues.
