(VIDEO) Donald Trump’s Non-Toxic Reaction to Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump’s Relationship
U.S. President Donald Trump has weighed in on the latest buzz surrounding his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, who’s now romantically linked to golf legend Tiger Woods.
What Trump Had to Say About the Romance
The President revealed that it was Tiger Woods himself who gave him the heads-up, sharing that he planned to announce his relationship with Vanessa on social media.
Trump recounted his response: “I told him, ‘Tiger, that’s great. Really great. I’m thrilled for both of them. I just let them be happy—let them both be happy. They’re fantastic people.’”
He went on, reflecting warmly: “Vanessa and Don had a solid relationship. They’ve got five incredible kids—amazing athletes, top-notch students, you know? But they split a while back, and for me, it was honestly pretty sad because I think they’re both terrific.”

Tiger Woods went public with Vanessa, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., the President’s eldest son, in March, sparking headlines everywhere.
Meanwhile, Woods’ own past includes a high-profile marriage to Swedish model Elin Nordegren, which infamously crashed in 2010 amid a cheating scandal that rocked the sports world.
Trump’s comments come on the heels of Woods’ Instagram post last month, where he shared two cozy photos with Vanessa, captioning them: “Love is in the air, and life’s better with you by my side! Can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.” He added a plea: “Right now, we’d appreciate some privacy for everyone close to our hearts.”
People magazine confirmed on March 13 that Woods and Vanessa had been dating for months, with the Daily Mail echoing the scoop.
As for Donald Trump Jr., reports say he’s taking it in stride, calling it “cool” that his ex has moved on, according to multiple outlets.
