The saga is over. After three years with the Las Vegas Raiders and requesting a trade over a week ago, All-Pro and Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams has been traded to the New York Jets, according to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter.

The deal was finalized with the Raiders receiving a conditional third-round pick, which could turn into a second-rounder if certain performance targets are hit. The Jets also agreed to take on Adams’ entire contract, paying his full salary from his time with Las Vegas.

With this move, Davante Adams gets his wish of reuniting with his first NFL quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, on a team that recently fired their head coach and currently holds a rough 2-4 record.
