Anitta to Headline Halftime Show at NFL’s First Game in Brazil
The NFL has announced that Brazilian pop star Anitta will headline the halftime show during the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 6th.
"It means everything to me to perform in São Paulo at the first NFL game in Brazil, where I can bring fans from around the world the excitement and joy of our incredible culture. It’s truly a dream come true to be part of this moment," the singer stated in a press release.
Larissa de Macedo Machado, better known as Anitta, will perform some of her most popular hits, giving fans a reason to celebrate this historic Week 1 matchup of the 2024 NFL season between the Packers and Eagles, the first-ever NFL game to be held in South America.
"We are thrilled to welcome global sensation Anitta and some of Brazil's top artists to this historic event, promising fans and viewers worldwide an unforgettable celebration of culture and entertainment," said NFL Events Director Tim Tubito.
