Grigor Dimitrov made an impressive start to his Wimbledon preparations with a straight-sets victory over Borna Coric at the BNP Paribas Classic.

With less than a week to go before the third grand slam of 2015 begins, Dimitrov opted for the exhibition event at the Hurlingham Club and enjoyed a convincing start.

Despite Coric impressing with some powerful forehands, Dimitrov had too much for the young Bosnian, winning 6-2 6-1.

Dimitrov will face Richard Gasquet in his second game at the event on Wednesday, before the likes of Kei Nishikori and Tomas Berdych take centre stage later in the week.
