Foden Leaves England Camp
Great motivation has arrived for Phil Foden to shine at Euro 2023.
Phil Foden, an England footballer, left his team’s training camp at the Euro Cup in Germany this Wednesday to travel to the UK and be with his partner for the birth of their third child, according to the BBC.
The Manchester City player, who started in all three group stage matches, will return to Germany for the Round of 16.
"Phil Foden has temporarily left the England camp and returned to the UK for an urgent family matter," explained a spokesperson for the English Football Association.
In April, Foden and his girlfriend, Rebecca Cooke, announced they were expecting their third child together. At that time, they celebrated the news with a party and shared photos on their social media.
