Barnabás Varga, striker for the Hungary national team, was evacuated on a stretcher this Sunday after a concerning incident on the pitch at Stuttgart Arena. The player fell unconscious following a bad fall while attempting to head a free-kick in the penalty area.
In the 68th minute, Varga lay motionless in the goal area, showing only slight movement. His teammates quickly called for medical attention and placed him on his side until the medical team arrived.
Varga received treatment on the field for approximately five minutes, hidden by screens, before being immobilized on a stretcher and removed from the pitch in the 74th minute, to the applause of the crowd.
