The Round of 16 match between Germany and Denmark at Euro 2024 was suspended due to a severe storm that hit Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund.

The suspension occurred in the 35th minute of the match, as heavy rain and lightning strikes prompted referee Michael Oliver to halt the game and send the teams to the locker rooms.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, the match has been suspended. More information will follow shortly," read the message displayed on the stadium's video screens.
