Denmark and England split points and remain in the fight for the lead in Group C at Euro 2024.
In a hard-fought match that went down to the wire, Denmark and England drew 1-1 in their second game of the Euro 2024 group stage in Group C, played at Deutsche Bank Park.
The scoring opened early in the match, with Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane putting England up 1-0 in the 18th minute, raising hopes of securing the top spot in the group.
However, Denmark didn't give up after Kane's goal. Capitalizing on a defensive error by England, Morten Hjulmand scored a great shot from outside the box in the 34th minute, beating Jordan Pickford to level the score at 1-1.
In the second half, both teams pushed to break the deadlock, but it proved difficult, and they ended up sharing the points. England remains at the top of the group with 4 points, while Denmark is in second place with 2 points, tied with Slovenia, who are in third.
