FC Barcelona returned home to the City of Barcelona seeking passage to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Napoli, who aimed to reach the top eight for the second consecutive year.

In the first half, particularly within the opening 17 minutes, the Catalan side was superb, dominating and taking a two-goal lead in quick succession. The first goal came from Fermín López in the 15th minute, followed by Joao Cancelo's strike in the 17th minute.

Later on, Napoli corrected their course to pull one back, making it 2-1 with a goal from Rrahmani around the 30th minute mark.

The second half saw a more contested battle with Napoli pushing for the equalizer, while FC Barcelona controlled the game with possession. The Blaugranas sealed the match with a third goal from Robert Lewandowski in the 83rd minute.

With this result, FC Barcelona qualifies for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since the 2019-2020 season, while Napoli couldn't replicate last season's feat.
