Dortmund Player Nearly Signed by PSG Twice
A top player and key figure in Borussia Dortmund's current team could have played for PSG.
Borussia Dortmund and PSG are set for a tough battle to see which team will secure a spot in the Champions League final at Wembley on June 1, 2024.
There's a shared history between these two teams involving one of the most important players of the German side who came close to signing with PSG on two occasions, Dortmund's captain, Emre Can.
One of the key figures in the German team today could have easily ended up at PSG on two occasions, as revealed by the 30-year-old player in an interview with "L’Équipe," disclosing that he almost joined the team currently managed by Luis Enrique in 2018 and 2020.
"I almost signed with PSG twice, but in the end, no agreement was reached," Can stated a few days before facing PSG in one of the most important matches of his career, the first leg of the Champions League semifinal at Signal Iduna Park.
