Arsenal Will aim to Come Back against Porto at Home
Arsenal's coach, Mikel Arteta, expressed that the Emirates Stadium crowd gives him the urge to "get out there and play," emphasizing the need to tweak a couple of things from the first leg to overturn the tie against Porto.
The 'Gunners' have to overcome the 1-0 deficit Porto secured at Do Dragao to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010.
"We definitely need to change a couple of things to generate much more than we did," Arteta stated in Monday's press conference. "This is the level of the Champions League. Being a two-legged tie, we have that in mind, and we can make amends tomorrow," he added.
Arsenal enters the match after eight consecutive wins in the Premier League, leading ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City. They also boast a perfect record at the Emirates Stadium in the Champions League, with three matches, three wins, twelve goals scored, and none conceded.
"I think the impact the crowd will have tomorrow will be incredible. We need them to play every ball with us, and we need emotional control too. It's a very nice opportunity to experience one of these nights," he pointed out.
"They make me want to get out there and play. That's the feeling we have. Tomorrow is going to be a great night," admitted the Spanish coach.
Arteta confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli won't be available for the match after being unable to train on Monday.
