Yildirim: 'We’ll Do Whatever Mourinho Wants'"
The candidate and former president said that Fenerbahce will do whatever it takes to bring in the Portuguese coach.
Aziz Yildirim dreams of having José Mourinho as the coach next season. He also mentioned that he spoke with the Portuguese coach on the phone before the match between Fenerbahce and Istanbulspor. “He told me he watched the game. He probably also watched the derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. When we go to London to watch the Champions League Final, he’ll tell us how he wants us to make the signings. We’ll do whatever he wants. Money is no issue. Our club always has money,” Yildirim said.
He also mentioned the cost of signing "The Special One," which would be around $43.2 million for two seasons, plus an extra budget for signings.
So far, Mourinho has several offers from various clubs; however, his priority is to coach in one of Europe’s top five leagues. He will make his decision in about two weeks to determine his future.
