(VIDEO) Victor Osimhen’s Double Bangers with a Special Dedication
Victor Osimhen has made a dream start in the Süper Lig, quickly becoming Galatasaray’s star scorer. He showed up big-time against second-place Samsunspor, netting two headers with a special dedication to his teammate Mauro Icardi.
The first goal came just 3 minutes into the game, giving Galatasaray an early lead over their closest rival in the Süper Lig. The moment got emotional when Osimhen celebrated by pulling out Icardi’s jersey, holding it up, and copying the Argentine’s signature celebration. It was a gesture of support after Icardi tore his ACL and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
His second goal came in the 55th minute, right when Galatasaray needed it most after Samsunspor had leveled things up. Osimhen popped up in the box to put his team back on top. That made it six goals and two assists in just six games this season.
Osimhen also set a new record in the Süper Lig, becoming the first player to score or assist in each of his first six matches—all consecutive. He’s proving why he’s one of the most dangerous strikers in the world right now.
