Juventus Has a New Coach: A Former Barcelona and PSG Player
Juventus has officially announced the signing of Italian-Brazilian Thiago Motta as the new head coach for the next three seasons, until 2027.
"Juventus is pleased to announce Thiago Motta as the new head coach of the first team. The Italian-Brazilian has signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2027," announced the "Vecchia Signora" in an official statement.
Motta, who achieved a remarkable feat this season by bringing Bologna back to the UEFA Champions League after 60 years, will take over the position from Massimiliano Allegri, who was dismissed after his excessive outburst in the Coppa Italia final win against Atalanta.
"I'm very happy to start a new chapter with a great club like Juventus. I thank the owners and management, who can be assured of my ambition to keep the Juventus flag flying high and to please the fans," said the coach, as quoted by "Juve".
