The official English account of X for Juventus Turin was hacked this Monday, and the club falsely announced the signing of Turkish player Arda Güler, currently with Real Madrid.  

"Welcome to Juventus, Arda Güler! The rising star of football is now part of the Juventus family. Ready to make history together on this new journey? #WelcomeArda #ForzaJuve," the club’s official English account suddenly posted.

The announcement, which immediately went viral, has already amassed nearly 1.5 million views and over a thousand comments.

Juventus had to issue a statement on its official Italian account to deny the information and inform that its English account had been hacked.  

"Our English account was hacked. Please ignore the false information published on @juventusfcen. We are working to resolve the issue," the club stated.

It wasn’t the only message posted by the hackers, as they also announced the supposed resignation of Ali Koç as president of Fenerbahçe.
