France: Adrien Rabiot Out with Les Bleus?
Didier Deschamps is expected not to include the French midfielder in the next French team call-up.
Before the Euro 2024 this summer in Germany, the French national team will have one last gathering in March to prepare for their upcoming friendlies against Germany on March 23rd and Chile on March 26th. With the major event just a few months away, Didier Deschamps will not want to take any risks as several of his players have crucial matches with their respective clubs. A precautionary principle that should prevail for Adrien Rabiot.
Is Rabiot out of the next call-up?
The Juventus player dislocated his left big toe on February 25th against Frosinone (3-2) in Serie A. It was a serious injury, according to an X-ray posted by the Frenchman on social media, showing the toe out of its original position. According to L'Equipe, Didier Deschamps is therefore expected to decide not to include him in the list that he must announce on March 14th. The final decision will be made early in the week, but the trend is strongly negative, the newspaper states.
