The millionaire sum Liverpool will earn from Adidas after leaving Nik
Liverpool estimates that it will earn around £60 million ($72 million) thanks to the sponsorship deal with Adidas, which will take effect starting from the 2025-2026 season.
The 'Reds,' who currently have a five-year agreement with Nike, chose Adidas in a selection process where the German brand outbid both Nike and Puma.
Nike currently pays Liverpool a fixed amount of £30 million, which can rise to £60 million depending on performance-related targets.
With this new deal, Liverpool will be on par with Manchester City (Puma), Arsenal (Adidas), and Chelsea (Nike), all of which earn between £60 million and £65 million annually.
The best sponsorship deal in the Premier League, in terms of kit suppliers, is held by Manchester United, which receives £90 million annually from Adidas. However, this amount was reduced for this season due to the team’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Liverpool, which under the leadership of Jürgen Klopp has won every possible title except the Europa League in recent years, has recovered well from the departure of the German coach and has won ten of the eleven matches played this season.
If Liverpool beats RB Leipzig in the Champions League this Wednesday, Arne Slot will become the first in history to lead Liverpool to victory in eleven of the first twelve matches of the season.
